Pre-Course Management
A module for the faculty and administrator to
build a courseware, schedule enrolments and various other course related
properties.
Course Creation
LMS offers one of the most
sophisticated and user-friendly Course Creation module which allows
users to create courses from simple to complex hierarchical course
structures. The unique features enable users to rapidly create courses
and re-use content from other courses. These features are unique to
LMS, which no other system in the world offers.
It allows users to break down their course into modular structures
giving great flexibility to the user while creating a course or while
making rapid changes to the course.
All courses created in the LMS are built on small chunks of content
known as Learning Objects. These chunks of content can be re-used across
other courses reducing the effort to build courses of similar nature.
There is a powerful import feature, built in this module, which allows
users to import course content from various levels of various courses
allowing rapid development of courses.
One of the most exceptional features of the Course Creation module in
the LMS is that it does not bind the user with any proprietary
Authoring tool as other Learning Management Systems do. The authoring
environment has been kept independent of this system. Hence now through
this system you can create course content in common authoring tools like
Dreamweaver, Flash, Word, Powerpoint etc. The LMS will allow
you to assemble the various types of content authored in different
environments and string them together into a single course.
The user-friendly interface makes course structuring and sequencing a
pleasure. What more, content added can be viewed immediately through the
Preview option, allowing content authors to see how the content would be
displayed to the actual learner.
