200 grams
all-purpose flour , 100 grams Crisco ,
100 grams powder sugar,
3 tbsp. cold milk,
1/2-tsp. baking powder,
3 tbsp. pineapple jam,
1 tsp. vanilla extract,
butter icing.
PREPARATION:
Shift all-purpose flour, baking powder and soda.
Beat Crisco
and mix sugar and beat till smooth and fluffy. Mix all-purpose flour mixture,
vanilla extract and beat the mixture. Mix milk and knead the flour like roti.
Divide the flour into 4 equal parts. Knead the flour and roll out chapatis of
1/4 inch thickness. Cut 20 biscuits with round cutter and other 20 with 3-hole
biscuit cutter. The size of the cutter should be same. Grease and dust oven
tray. Keep the biscuits in the tray, as such that they are 2 inches apart.
Bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 250 degree F. Cool them. Take one
simple and other 3-hole biscuit and make pairs.
Apply icing
on a simple biscuit and paste the 3-hole biscuit over it. Put pineapple jam in
different colors in the holes.
