MASALA PURI


INGREDIENTS:

400 grams wheat flour

5 grams coriander seeds powder

Salt

2-tsp. red chili powder

2-tsp. plain yogurt

3 grams ajama (oregano leaves)

1/2-tsp. turmeric powder

Oil to fry 


PREPARATION:

Shift the flour. Add oil, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ajama and mix well. Knead into soft dough with plain yogurt and water.

Knead the dough and make 20 equal balls. Roll out into puris and deep fry in the warm oil.

Serve warm with plain yogurt or chutney.
