HOG-PLUMS (AVALA)


 

1/2 kilo hog-plums,      1 kilo sugar,

5-6 cardamom powder and      1 grams saffron.

 

Wash hog-plums. Pressure cook hog-plums mixed with sugar, cardamom powder. Mix saffron in a little water and add to it. Cook for 3 whistles. When cool remove the seeds and dry in sun till they are dried properly. Fill in an airtight jar. It's good source of vitamin `c'.
