karma is adverse to Right Belief; when that begins to operate, the Self becomes a wrong
believer; so let it be known. It is declared by Jina that nescience is adverse to Right
Knowledge; when that begins to operate; the Self becomes ajnani (one devoid of knowledge);
so let it be known. It is declared by Jina that kashaya (soul-soiling gross emotions) is
adverse to Right Conduct; when this begins to operate, the Self becomes acharitra (devoid
of Right Conduct); so let it be known.
