GUJ. HIGH COURT STAYS UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTION AT GIRNAR JI
On a petition filed by the residents of Junagarh alongwith the State Archaeology department, the High Court of Gujarat has stayed any further unauthorised construction on the 5th peak of Girnar Ji mountain, which is believed to be the land of salvation ( Moksha Bhumi) of Tirthankar Shri Nemi Nath Ji. Bharatvarshiya Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee, Mumbai as well as Shri Bharatvarshiya Digambar Jain (Teerth Sanrakshini) Mahasabha, Lucknow also offered their full cooperation in obtaining the stay order. The matter is still being pursued strongly by the Digambar Mahasabha with the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi to save the holy Siddha Kshetra from unscrupulous people.
