BAHUBALI STATUE AT SHRAWANBELGOLA DECLARED AS ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS IN INDIA - According to a readers' survey conducted by the Times of India, the Bahubali statue at Shrawanbelgola in Karnataka state has been declared as one of the seven wonders of India. The statue is 17.38 meters tall in standing posture and is made of stone in one single piece. Situated between two hills, on the bank of a lake. This place is a major pilgrimage centre for Jain community in the country and is the main attraction of the state of Karnataka. Karnataka Minister for Tourism B.
