INDIAN GOVERNMENT RULES TO ADD CALCIUM (ANIMAL BONE) TO COMMON SALT
Govt. of India has banned sale of non-iodized salt and only salt added with iodine and calcium are to be sold henceforth. Since animal bones will be the main source of Calcium, Jains and vegetarians should stop implementation of this rule at-least allowing salt without calcium additive. Jain MPs and political workers should bring it to the notice of Prime Minister and stop calcium additive to salt in order to safe-guard Jain vegetarian practice and the sentiments of Jain community.
