FEDERATION TO ADOPT 100 GIRL STUDENTS TO SUPPLY MIDDAY MEALS
HUBLI: The All India Jain Youth Federation will adopt 100 girl students studying in
Government Ghantikeri Girls’ School for supply of
food under Akshaya free midday meals scheme. The federation will hand over a cheque
for Rs 1.20 lakh to ISKCON
on Saturday. ISKCON has taken the responsibility of midday meals in this school. A programme will
be organised on Saturday at Ghantikeri Shantinath Hindi High
School,
which will be attended by Minister R V Deshpande.
Former ministers Harnahalli Ramaswamy
and A M Hindasageri and Rajiv Lochana Das
of ISKCON will attend the function, according to Mahendra
Singhi, Federation president.
