Prevention and cure (also known as Jivdaya), It is a very special incident. President Kalam saved a peocock suffering from Cancer. About a week ago, while on morning walk in Mughal Gardens, The President noticed a peocock with growth around its eye. The President immediately informed this to Veterinary Surgeon. He
operated it soon and removed the tumour which was extending upto mouth. If
President had not noticed it, it would have died out of starvation as it
was unable to eat. Now
the Peocock is showing signs of recovery and it is again returned to
nature's lap. According
to Officials whenever President Kalam notices a sick bird or animal, he
sends for Veterinary staff and enquires about it the next day.
