Jain Center presents Mallika Sarabhai in concert on October 31, 2004

Jain Center is organizing its next fund raising event with Mallika
Sarabhai, and eminent dancer par excellence. The event will be held
on October 31, 2004 at the La Mirada Performing Arts Theatre in
La Mirada.

We wish to make this a memorable event. The preparations for the
event are going to start from next week.

We will need a lot of help from interested community members who
can help out in various activities. Please let us know what you
would be interested in, so that we can make sub-committees and
get the ball rolling.

Specifically we will need help under the following broad activites:

1. Event planning.
2. Crowd Control and event entry/exit.
3. Cultural Programming.
4. Cultural artist management.
5. Booth management.
6. Rehersal organizing.
7. Stage design and control.
8. Back stage control.
9. Decoration and setup.
10. Ticket sales and administration.
11. Food distribution.
12. Volunteer Management.
13. Control Room management.
14. Web site design.
15. Souvenior design and control.
16. Graphics and design.
17. Accounting and Finance.
18. Contract management.
19. Credit Card Sales.

We do not need a lot of time devotion to these activities. However,
we do expect professionalism and commitment to whatever you pick
out to help the Jain Center with.
